Memorial

This morning Tyler and I went with our neighbors Meg, Vincent and William to the memorial for the 35W bridge collapse and to see the bridge. The memorial was set atop a hill in a park in downtown Minneapolis. While we were there Meg and Vincent got interviewed by a news station on the impact the collapse is having on children.

After laying some flowers for those who died and are still missing we walked across a neighboring bridge to get a closer look at the wreckage. Although we didn't get too close, the part of the bridge we could see was truly terrifying. It truly made us appreciate how lucky we are.
