Saying Goodbye...

In order to make our blog more family centered and to accommodate all the changes in our lives I decided to create a new blog. Therefore, this will be the last post on the Tyler James Buffo blog. This link will be kept so we can re-visit any of these posts but our new address will be:
www.fourbsinapod.blogspot.com
Thanks for reading this blog and for keeping up with the adventures of Tyler. There's plenty more to come so click on the link and follow us to our new chapter!

ABCs in the B-A-T-H

Okay, so he forgets the K and stops in the middle to say, "cheese!" but still a darn good performance, if I do say so myself. (And I do cause I'm his mama!)

Winter Weather

Last week we realized winter was here when we woke up to this
Even though it had mostly melted by the afternoon, we donned our new snow boots and braved the outdoors.
It's going to be a long winter...

An Active American

(Do you see his sticker??)

Samuel Robert

On Sunday October 26th at 4:30 in the morning my neighbor, Meg, gave birth to their third child, Samuel Robert. I was lucky enough to be her co-birth coach (along with her husband, Joe) so I was there to witness his wonderful arrival into this world.
It all started late Saturday night with a phone call from Meg that she'd been having some contractions and she'd keep me posted. By 1:30 they were 5 minutes apart so I headed over. Less than an hour later they were 3 minutes apart and we were headed to the hospital where we discovered she was dilated to 6 cm already! She was so great, laboring close to another hour before calling for medication. When the nurse was doing a final check before calling the anesthesiologist Meg's water broke, she was at a ten and ready to push! After 3 or 4 contractions Samuel Robert was born, 8 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches long. Meg did such an amazing job. I was so proud of her and happy to finally meet baby Samuel. We love you baby boy!!

Adventures of Pooh, Final Chapter

On Halloween night Tyler got dressed one last time as Pooh bear to go trick or treating with his friends and dada. All the kids had fun showing off their costumes and chasing each other around in the front yard. Once the sun set they were off to the neighbors collecting candy. Tyler made it to only a few doors before returning home to help me hand out candy. When our door bell rang he would grab his pumpkin and, while I was handing out candy to the kids, take candy out of our bowl and put it in his pumpkin. Ha! For the entire night he went around saying, "Treat...treat...treat".

This week we met friends Anna and Elise at the Children's Museum for their Halloween Party. Here are some pictures of the trio posing as Cinderella (Anna), Elmo (Elise) and Pooh.
