Playdate with a cutie

Last week Tyler and I went to visit our friend Christa and her addorable daughter Anna for a playdate. Anna is 6 months old and full of energy and smiles. She was very interested in looking at baby Tyler. A love connection, perhaps? Tyler should be so lucky! If Tyler is anything like Anna then Jim and I have some fun months ahead of us!

Christa and I took the babies for a walk then had lunch and some adult conversation. It was great to visit with her and catch up. This summer we plan to hit the parks of the Twin Cities with Christa and Anna. We can't wait!! Thanks for having us over!

Daddy's little helper

Yesterday Tyler and I hung out with dad in the basement while he installed our new blinds. Tyler kept Jim smiling with all his new coos and facial expressions.

Aggie Baby

WHOOP!

Thanks for coming over this weekend and visiting Papa and Nana Buffo! I'm glad you got to hold me and see me smile! Thansk for making my mom and dad such a great dinner, too! We can't wait to see you again soon!

70s in the Cities

The past two days it's been in the 70s and Tyler and I have been taking full advantage!

7 hours!

Last night Tyler slept from 10 until 5 in the morning!! His normal routine has been 10 to 3 to 7 but he blew right past his 3:00 feeding. I woke up at 4:45 and panicked when I saw the time. When I went to check on him he was sleeping like a little angel. Needless to say, mom was very appreciative of the extra sleep. When he did get up this morning he was much more awake and alert than usual. He stared and Jim and I for a long time this morning and even started working on a smile. Here's a cute picture of our little sleepyhead.

Hanging Out...

Here are some cute pictures of Tyler hanging out with Mom and Dad...

Feed Me!

"Daddy, why isn't anything coming out??"

Tyler often mistakes Jim's nose as a source of milk at feeding time...

Sweet Sixteen!

This past Saturday Jim, Tyler and I went to a friend's house to watch some March Madness. Tyler was all decked out in his Aggie overalls and blanket to cheer the Ags onto a victory. He must have been pretty confident in their ability to win as he slept soundly throughout the entire game. He also got to meet Elise Amelotte and McKenna Caulfield, two future girlfriends, I'm sure. :)

Thymes and Timberwolves

Last week Tyler and I went into my office for lunch and official introductions. Before I even made it into the front door he was surrounded by admirers. At one point he opened his eyes and had about fifteen women staring back at him! They couldn't get enough of his chipmunk cheeks and his full head of hair. He took it all in stride though. He didn't cry at all, just gave off a few of his signature grunts. I was able to pull him away after about two and a half hours and we stopped at Jim's office next. He was pretty tuckered out at this point, only waking up long enough to spit up on our friend Eric. After that it was back home for some much needed quiet time.

Heat Wave!

Well by Minnesota standards anyway. Today it was sunny and almost 50 degrees so we decided to take advantage. The weenies and I took Tyler on his first tour of the neighborhood. I'm not sure how impressed he was as he slept most of the time, a pattern I'm starting to notice whenever he's in his car seat. :) The weenies were definitely excited to get out on their leashes again, however I think I will need a little more practice navigating a stroller and two dogs. All in all it was a success and it made me that much more anxious for Spring to get here!

Taking It Hard...

"What do you mean the Aggies lost in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament???"

Just Relaxing...

Baby's First Bottle

Tonight Tyler had his first feeding with daddy. We weren't sure how he would take a bottle but he sucked down 3 ounces like a champ! Jim was a natural and loved getting to feed his son. What a cute pair!!

Tyler's Big Adventure

Today Jim, Tyler and I picked up my new car. I just love it!

To celebrate our new freedom Tyler and I went to lunch and the mall with our neighbors Meg and Will. We ate at the Macaroni Grill where Tyler and Will were perfect angels. Then we window shopped at the mall. It was Tyler's first time in his stroller and he loved it. We did have a little excitement at Baby Gap. Meg and I were feeding and changing the boys when we discovered Tyler had soaked his entire outfit and part of mine! It must have been all the excitement of the day. So, not only did we have to change a diaper but we had to put on a whole new outfit in the dressing room of Baby Gap. Tyler was pretty unhappy about the incident but quickly calmed down once he was clean, fed and back in the stroller.

Let it snow!!

This weekend we got a ton of snow!! Luckily, we were able to stay snug as a bug. Tyler spent the weekend hanging out at home with mom and dad. On Sunday Papa and Nana Buffo came to visit. Just look at how big I am!

Hello World!

Here is a picture of Tyler and his friend and neighbor Will. Today we had our first outing into the real world. We went to Target and, although Tyler slept the entire time, I'm sure he enjoyed getting out of the house. The fresh air must have done him good because he slept for 3 straight hours afterward!

Grandma's Visit

Grandma came to visit us after Tyler was born. She was a big help! She cooked us dinner, took care of the dogs, and held baby Tyler. She got to babysit one night while Jim and I went on our first post baby date. Here are some pictures from her time here.
