We spent the majority of his appointment talking about his leg. He was x-rayed again and it came out clean. His doctor assured us that he'll be up and about again in no time. He is improving his mobility each day so we're just trying to be patient.
Other topics of conversation were his naps and vocabulary. He's pretty much moved to 1 nap a day now. Occasionally he'll still go down in the morning but I have to wake him up after an hour if we want him to go down later too. It took some trial and error but we've found he'll take a good 2 hour nap if he's down around 11:30. Any earlier or later and we're lucky to get an hour and he's a total crab.
He's been building up his vocab for a little while now. When I told his doctor all his words she was pretty impressed with how many he says. Words he uses often now are: Hi (or Hi ya!), hot, touch, catch, car, down (we think), dada and pup. He's also working on "ball" and has finally started saying "mama" although he needs to be prompted.
Within the past week he's broken through another tooth on the bottom and two more are working on coming in on the top. When those 2 are in he'll have a total of ten teeth, 6 on top and 4 on the bottom.
Something new he's recently started doing is giving hugs and kisses. When you ask him to hug his bear or pup he'll pull it close to his chest, raise his shoulders and smile. He's also realizing what kisses are. When we ask to kiss him he'll turn his head and stick out his cheek to us. Then he'll press his open mouth against your cheek and say, "mmwwaaa". So cute!!!
Overall, he's healthy and right on track with his milestones. Yay!
