Going for a stroll

One of Tyler's favorite activities lately is strolling back and forth across the basement with his walker. His little legs are building up their strength and he can go pretty fast now. He's also figured out how to switch sides on the walker when he dead ends into something. Jim and I think his walking days are not far away. When he cruises on furniture he's getting braver about making transfers. He's also let go multiple times now and will stand on his own. The longest we've counted is 10 seconds before he reaches out to steady himself. He's started walking, too, when we just hold one of his hands. He gets so excited, you can tell he just wants to take off! Here's a video of him in the basement. Listen to him say "hi" to his horsey in the beginning.

Oh, yes, it is just a matter of time before he takes off on his own-it reminds me so much of jack-the same scooter and everything! And he still pushes that scooter around all the time, so it was a good purchase!
